GAME SEQUENCE

The turns are alternated. The player who has turn shoots, moves, and engages melee; the passive player can only react (4). Once the sequence is over, the series starts again for player B.

 

Player A

 

1) Fire of artillery, infantry in closed and skirmish order, and cavalrymen.

 

2) Movement of units that have not fired and skirmish infantry.

 

3) Melee engagement phase

 

4) Player B's reaction to melee

 

5) Commander checks (optional)

 

5) Melee outcome and morale check of broken risk units

 

6) Activation of reserves and strategic provisions (optional)
